培養適應社會主義現代化建設需要，德智體全面發展，具有較強的綜合素質和一定的創新精神，能夠從事電氣工程及其自動化領域相關的工程設計、生產制造、系統運行、系統分析、技術開發、教育科研、經濟管理等方面工作的特色鮮明的復合型高級工程技術人才。
本專業設電力系統及其自動化（電力）、繼電保護及自動遠動技術（電自）、高電壓技術（高壓）、電氣技術（電氣）、電機與電力電子技術（電機）等5個專業方向。
This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the areas of morality, intelligence and physical training to meet the demand from the construction of the modernization of the socialism.
